Galdre Visions is kind-of a New Age / World Music group with Harp, lightweight perhaps but just $5.81:
    https://www.amazon.com/Galdre-Visions/dp/B08S2Y99Z1

Danny Keane's big world-music 2LP set from 2020 called 'Roamin', tablas and zithers and such, just $8.92:
    https://www.amazon.com/Roamin-2LP-180g-Danny-Keane/dp/B089CRW6BR

String Theory 'Los Angeles Suite', a European group that's worked with Jose Gonzalez, just $7.44
    https://www.amazon.com/Los-Angeles-Suite-String-Theory/dp/B08D4VS7S6

PCM 'Attraverso', just another real good ambient album from n5MD for $9.45:
    https://www.amazon.com/Attraverso-COLOR-VINYL-PCM/dp/B07TLPBC1Q

Waveform - Last Room - old-school shoegaze with a male singer for $10.51
    https://www.amazon.com/Last-Room-Sea-Blue-waveform/dp/B09LBB2VXJ

I'm winded, that's it for me for today. This was a pretty dramatic group of price drops, I don't remember ever seeing so many at one time. Only fairly recent LP's were dropped that I noticed - older LP's from 2019 and back were unchanged on all the titles I've been watching.

Just listened to some on TIDAL, and I can see why you would say that, though I don't think Kaplan is as interesting, musically, as Carson (and especially in the work she did with The Golden Palominos). I hear elements of early Jane Siberry too, but maybe she is closer to Dawn Landes?

The TIDAL version is very loud! Unnecessarily so! :(

Great album. Curious to see how the pressing quality is. I don't think I've ever got a 100% solid pressing of anything by an ATO Records artist.

Really quiet, clear pressing but for two small pops on one track which I’ve never bothered to investigate despite repeated listenings…

I dug out my 50+ year old original copy and verified that I do not need this "audiophile" version.

Re: that Volunteers, what is the report on the quality there? I just got the MFSL 2 X 45rpm set, do I need to bother? I have an original as well I bought back in the day.

I've only ordered it once, but it was so badly bowled I could have eaten Fruit Loops out of it. The cover is paper thin and it's tightly wrapped, which is a combo made in hell.
I'll try again at this price.

Only the berries are digital. That's straight from Bernie "Graybeard" Grundman, who masters all of the Captain's stuff.

I got the Neil Royce Hall today. Nice and flat, and surprised to see it was pressed at RTI. Neil had been using Record Industry as of late, I believe, and before that, Pallas. I had told myself I didn't need another 1971 solo recording, but this one is nice to have. And cheap! Thanks for the tip.

Off Topic: Taylor Swift must be pissed at Amazon. Her new LP 'Midnights' is available for pre-order from her own store (in a dizzying array of choices, all expensive), and at Target (an exclusive color, and a Deluxe CD with 3 extra songs), but I'm not seeing any pre-orders up yet at Amazon.

Off Topic: if you missed the Johnny Thunders Heartbreakers 'Found Masters' RSD last year, it has finally reappeared in a new color variant in wide distribution. FWIW, link to Amazon's listing at $37.99:

Off Topic: Bought my ticket for the London Suede + Manic Street Preachers US tour in November. Wow!

Off Topic: I see Target Exclusive colors for a 2023 Grateful Dead reissue as well as tomorrow's CCR 'Royal Albert Hall' reissue. Link to the CCR is here:

Boo Radleys' comeback album (without Martin Carr, of course) new low price of $16.81. Only showing 4 copies in stock. Reviews were good:

Michael Schenker's 2022 album 'Universal' on colored wax for $14.40:

Rare to see ECM vinyl this cheap: Matthias Eick's 2022 album for $14.52

Emilie Levienaise-Farrouch 'Ravage' modern classical on 130701. Compared to Johann Johannsson, Hildur Gudnadottir and other unspellable artists. $13.47, only 2 copies in inventory.

Amazon gets beat up on & for good reason!
    But I must say.
I just purchased the Neil Young Royce Hall & Citizen Kane.
It arrived today with each album in a record mailer and both in a box with packing material.
    Great job Amazon!
And thanks to this thread for getting it to me for $12 & $14 respectively.

I must have ordered more than 10 records from Amazon in the last two weeks and they all arrived in a record mailer and most often than not the record mailer was put into another box.
I am pleasantly surprised, this is a very positive change and I hope this will continue in the future.

Also, a big thank you to all that have posted good deals in this thread, I think I speak for everyone here when I say that it is much appreciated :righton:

Agreed. A lot of ECM releases these days tend to get very same-y, hard to tell one from the other, but this one maintains your interest. Plenty of good reviews on the web for those who may be interested.

No idea whether current day ECM vinyl is up to the quality of the German vinyl I used to buy when the label first started, but there are no issues with the 24/96 files! :D
