Only if the record prices are significantly different. If they’re all the same price or within a few dollars there’s not much purpose to separate orders.

Think what happened here is it shows the tax for all 3 items after you cancel.
I wonder if that adjust when it ships?

No offense, but please read through the messages from today instead of continually asking questions that have already been addressed in today's messages.

Is Target easy with returns/exchanges for bad pressings?

yes they are.. BUT - they are often OOS on titles after this sale, so you'd likely just get a refund (and/or they will just let you keep a defective copy)

The few times ive had an issue with an lp and requested a return, they’ve just refunded me and let me keep it. But thats always been for like $25 lps.

Otherwise if theres a problem ill just return it in store, since i dont think they so exchanges

I'm kind of wondering if I shouldn't order a second Stones box in case the first has problems, because I doubt Target will have any for exchange later... that said, I also don't want to deprive anyone...

i have 3 on order from Amazon US, Amazon UK, and Target. Amazon UK worked out cheapest if it comes through so ill return the other 2 or use them to build the best box possible

I would almost expect to to have at least a few defective discs in the stones box, being that it’s pressed at GZ…

It's a thread on a Target sale where people try to screw the retailer via a loophole. Hardly scintillating conversation. You'll live.

looking at your list of what you already purchased... you sure you don't want to just go ahead and add the GNR box too? you know you want to...

irritating that the queen box set conveniently went out of stock yesterday before the sale even started. i thought now was the time to finally get this one.

I used to feel this way, too, but I’ve kind of come around. It seems in most cases a retailer will honor the sale price if you return an item bought as part of a deal like this. And they certainly aren’t going to refund you the list/regular price for a sale item you return with a receipt. So, in theory, we could buy three Rolling Stones mono sets and return two to the store and do the same thing achieved by cancelling two online. Only in this case, Target doesn’t have to eat any of the costs of processing returns, restocking them or offloading them to a wholesaler (or whatever else happens in return situations). In some ways it’s a win-win all around. Or at least that’s what I’ve told myself….
