His of all time for me is Lethal Weapon 1. That's when I bought my very first 9mm. I wanted a Beretta it was already that expensive at that time so end up getting a SiG P225. ....and followed by Signs.
Nice little synopsis. To touch on Payback, it feels like that is one of those films that gets better and more regarded over time. I love the look of it, and I definitely prefer the theatrical release with Kristofferson.
I will stand by Braveheart as his best film, but I feel that one of his most underrated is Maverick. I mentioned earlier in the thread how good he is at having on screen chemistry, and he had amazing chemistry with both Jodi Foster and James Garner. Even in the limited number of scenes with Graham Greene, they seemed like legit old friends catching up. Gibson's personal failings are obvious, but it's clear as day why he has been so successful as an actor.
One of the strangest movies ever made. Who makes a movie about Aztec Sacrifices? I own it but have only watched it once Gruesome but a good film. Showed clips in class . 8th grade Kids loved it
