Want to see a bunch of talented actors star in a HORRIBLE movie adaptation of a classic TV series?

    Here it is:

I became a fan of "The Avengers" when a local TV station aired the Rigg and Thorson episodes back in the early 1970s. Years later I got the DVD sets. When I heard that a big screen adaptation would be coming out in 1998 I was skeptical. Still, I went to see it. It hurt me more than the pain MST3K's Joel, Crow, and Servo felt while watching "The Castle of Fu Manchu"! Sean Connery, at one point, had to wear a Teddy Bear like costume. UGH!

One that comes immediately to mind is Twisted (2004) starring Ashley Judd, Samuel L. Jackson and Andy Garcia. I still cannot believe that the same guy responsible for “The Right Stuff” and “Invasion Of The Body Snatchers” directed this colossal piece of ****.

The last two Expendables movies. You cannot do a movie with 23 action heroes in it and do them justice. You just get a mess. Which we did.

I doubt we'll get another but if they do, cut it down to the core 5 or 6!

How could a Sidney Lumet film adapted musically by Quincy Jones featuring Michael Jackson, Diana Ross, Nipsey Russell, Ted Ross, Lena Horne, Mabel King, and Richard Pryor possibly fail?! :uhhuh::unhunh:
Objectively awful, but I actually do kind of like it. :hide::nyah:

Most Elvis movies in the 60s with poor scripts, bad songs and terrible supporting casts. Those films wasted a lot of Elvis' talent

Toy Story 4, perhaps the most disappointing Pixar movie ever.

Baby Driver. One of the worst movies I have ever seen. It was sad to see Jamie Fox, Jon Hamm, Lily James and Kevin Spacey reduced to performing in such drivel.

It was highly rated by some, but I hated that movie.

@Michael: I kinda like NOTHING BUT TROUBLE, too, despite is badness.

I find it watchable which is more than I can say for certain more well-regarded movies like "Easy Rider" and "Lawrence of Arabia". Two typical, un-interesting druggies hit the road in "Easy Rider". Yeah, ok. And I find the desert mostly uninteresting as a setting and combine that with the length of the movie and I can't through it no matter how well-made it is. I suppose if "Lawrence of Arabia" was 90 minutes I could watch it all the way through . . . but it's a heck of a lot longer than that.

    Bram Stoker's Dracula.

Coppola, Oldman, Hopkins, some good supporting actors, great source material....produced a film that's virtually unwatchable.

Is it all Keanu's fault? I don't know.

    What a cast:

Amy Adams, Jake Gyllenhaal, Michael Shannon, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Isla Fisher, Armie Hammer, Laura Linney, Andrea Riseborough, and Michael Sheen.

It's not terrible but with a cast like that you expect more. The story just isn't that strong.
