  1. And has anybody experience a problem with the lenticular cover separating from the cardboard? I am wondering what would be the best way to fix this.

There are short interviews with Ruth Buzzi and Butch Patrick as I recall.

I've already dropped a whole bunch of scratch over the past month on BR/4K sales and ever since this set first was available, I've scoffed at the frenzy surrounding it.

So I just ordered one.

I missed out on this the first time: "Two hundred bucks? No Way!"

Then, when they dropped the price to $150, I thought about it...a little too long, it was gone: "Rats!"

Then, last April, it came up again...I was on a long road trip, but didn't go for it: "I don't want it delivered when I'm gone, I'm sure it will be available when I get back." Oops!

So when I saw it was back in stock on Tuesday: "Ordered!!" :wiggle:

  8. Wasn’t there some footage missing from the Glen Campbell variety show segment? I could be wrong but I seem to remember reading something about that here.

I understand that money problems are real. Believe me, I am NOT financially rich. That being said, if you are truly a fan of the group or, more importantly, the TV show, you owe it to yourself to pick this up. The episodes look phenomenal, the bonus features are plentiful and worth having. As we watch physical media die, I can't imagine the series being reissued with more stuff, only less, IF it's ever reissued at all. When I was a kid, yearning for ch. 50 in Detroit to show Monkees reruns in the summer, I could never have imagined I would one day possess the entire series in this quality.

A friend passed away from ALS in his late 40s. He counted every nickel and dime, worrying non-stop about his financial future which, sadly, never came to pass. Ever since, I have lived my life knowing how precious each day may be. I wasn't going to let this set pass knowing the pleasure it would bring me. Thankfully, I've been enjoying it for quite a while and, with any fortune, for a while more, as well.

I was going to recommend plain old Elmer's but super glue is good insurance.

I used superglue and as long as you line it up correctly it works just fine. If you’re off at all the lid won’t close squarely

A couple episode intros, IIRC Ruth Buzzi and Butch Patrick (possibly Billie Hayes too?)

Two skits from the Glen Campbell Goodtime Hour (different from the two on the Blu-Ray set)

NBC News film of the Monkees in New York City

    Bobby Hart interview

There is a brief edit to 33 1/3, and the cereal boxes in the closing credits of some episodes on the DVD set didn't make the journey to Blu-Ray.

Ordered one today thanks to the notification here. Procrastinated on the first release, wasn't going to make that mistake again.

There's also the interview with Jerry Shepard who was an editor, director and executive producer of the show(featured on the season two dvd) which is sadly not carried over to the bluray set.

Ok, just found out something that will help you guys from freaking out on the Monkees store orders.
I logged into my account and there was NO RECORD of my order for the BluRay set from November 30!
    So I freaked out!
Then I remembered that I put the order in AS A GUEST. BINGO.
If you purchase something from them as a guest IT DOES NOT SHOW UP IN YOUR ACCOUNT! Very important.
So I logged out of my account, went to my email and clicked the check order link, put in my email address and 10 digit zip code and it showed up.

So they don’t link your orders to your account email addresses.

Hope this helps as it gets very confusing.

BTW, has anyone got a shipping notice yet for the BluRay set??
