I've been re-watching Scrubs and Wilbur. Both great but very different comedies.

A show which I had never watched before, Life with Elizabeth, starring Betty White. It's on the Classic Reruns TV channel.

Watched a 1959 episode of Highway Patrol last night.

Not as good as I recall from childhood.

    The 70s anthology show “Thriller”.

Episode 4 “Echoes of Theresa” was really good.

I'm into police shows and I tried one not having seen it before and it was a bit, er, dated. Usually that isn't a problem for me, but I wondered if I maybe saw a bit of a poor episode. At least I've seen the show once now. I grew up on Adam-12 so that's my standard for comparison.

Just nearing the end of season two of Hill Street Blues. More comedic moments than I ever remembered it as having. Once Ed Marinaro is teamed with Betty Thomas it got better.

I have a terrestrial antenna for TV... watching Twilight Zone and Hitchcock in black and white. Not a big TV enthusiast, so no cable just internet . I'll watch it if I can't sleep or am really bored

I love music, I'll watch a movie now and then and the news but 90% of the time it's music not TV

Columbo, Mannix and Rockford. They don't make characters like these guys anymore.

"The Abbott and Costello Show", season 1 on the new Blu-Ray set done from the original 35mm negs.
A real time machine showing what worked then and now, and what doesn't.
Lovely skits abound with good wordplay; other things just fall flat.
'Stooge' Joe Besser as a "child" is rather grating on the nerves; Hillary Brooke as Costello's girlfriend is definitely not.
    Image and sound are pristine.

I'm almost finished watching a grey market DVD set of Shiveree, a 1960s pop music show that featured a lot of great acts, as well as some obscurities.

I'm watching Soap on Antenna TV and I'm a little surprised that the f-word was censored. No, not that one. The one that means "homosexual man" and I don't mean "fairy". I supposed they did this in syndication.

Just started watching this on a DVD set. I assumed it was an older TV program and assumed it would be 4:3 image. But its widescreen. Anyway, think we will enjoy it.

Blakes 7. Watched it as a small kid. Bought the box set(s) about 10 years ago, but didn't get very far.

Now I have started again, and watched 10 episodes in 9 days. Not been watching anything else.

Weirdly don't remember a lot of it, but absolutely loving it now.

Been watching Danger Man over the past two years, one episode every few weeks. Love Patrick McGoohan. The writing is superb, as is the acting.

I sat across the aisle from Vic Morrow on a flight from JFK to LAX a few weeks before his untimely and tragic death. He was really nice and kindly gave me an autograph.
