I‘m starting this thread because I‘m on a heavy Woody Allen binge. I want to know which movies by him are your favourites. Here are the few films I watched so far: Bananas Sleeper Love and Death Annie Hall Hannah and Her Sisters I loved all of these movies
my favorite time for Woody is the 70's and other various years...so many but just a few that I love... Sleeper Take The Money And Run...I got a gub! ha hah ah! Play It Again Sam!
He’s working on a new film could be his last .. similar to Match Point…. Set in Paris ( and in French).
Bananas came out when I was a teenager. One of the funniest movies ever. My friend and I sat through it three times consecutively in the theater (in the days when you could do that) and laughed hysterically every time. Saw it seven times total way before the days of video. “Take the Money & Run” is my second favorite Woody Allen movie. Also remember seeing “Play it Again, Sam” with my dad, who was a huge “Casablanca” fan.
I'm only a moderate Woody fan. Of the 5-6 I've seen, the two I enjoyed enough to see a second time were: Vicky Cristina Barcelona Wonder Wheel
'Sleeper' remains a favourite one with Woody in it. In a strictly director role I enjoyed 'Match Point' very much.
These two are also my favourites! I‘m a bit surprised that nobody mentioned „Zelig“ yet because I heard somewhere that it is a fantastic movie.
New film first foreign language movie. Looks to be a bunch of unknown French actors. There’s a photo on set. Difficulty posting.
There’s like a 12 dvd box set, look around I’m sure you’ll find it cheap. It got a drawing illustration cover.
