The Pixies Live in Brixton vinyl box is back on sale-- $78.16 on DD, but only $63.18 on Walmart. I didn't grab it when it first went on sale, and it went back up to around $160 for a while. It's such a nice piece that it will be good to have even if you won't play that many Pixies shows too often.
Picked up that Brubeck to replace an underwhelming European pressing I picked up years back. More or less breaking even if it sells, thanks for the heads up.

Major apologies for the Kraftwerk "Computer World" (2013) - $24.02 entry in which I mis-labelled as a DEVO offering.
Various Artists : Retro 70s 2-CD set -- $3.99 Various Artists Retro 70S on DeepDiscount Do not buy this 2 CD-set. It contains sub-par non-original and live versions and is a crappy overall presentation of classic songs. I regret putting it up for an offering.
About 30 new titles have been added to the bin overnight. Mostly heavy metal, including Alice Cooper, Deep Purple and more.
Blowout Bin on DeepDiscount ...or click on the little BB logo on the images for items that are in "the bin"
$20 for the red vinyl 2LP of “Night of a thousand Vampires” by the Damned seems like a good deal, that only just came out (5c less for the clear vinyl, cheapskates).
The bin was a lot more enticing when everything interesting was just above or below $10, now it's all closer to $20 which is real money for something you wouldn't buy in the first place
Ours are in the back yard.....black for trash, blue for cardboard, yellow for containers and green for garden waste They just about qualify as colored vinyl!
Agreed. In any case, it's worth waiting till they hit the DeepDiscount Walmart bins at even cheaper prices (which usually happens within 24 hours of the Blowout Bin drops). As the bargain prices have gone up throughout the year, the names have become more recognizable, so I'd assume those sub-$10 drops at the beginning of the year were their worst selling products. As time went on, they simply marked down their excess inventory and slow moving items. Here's to hoping that we see another big sub-$10 drop in the next few months.
i think we're seeing a lot of stuff that is $15-$20 only because their list prices are off. some of the release are imports to the US and dd seems to think folks in europe are shelling out $80 for a duran duran reissue. so yeah, you're still getting a hefty discount. just on a mispriced item.
Yep, the list prices make no sense and it could be because of exchange rates. The Seven and the Ragged Tiger was an obvious example but there are many more. Like the Night at the Opera.
I agree. When the bin deals suddenly became less enticing several months ago, I noticed that a lot of the list prices were significantly higher so when the discount percentage is applied, the deal doesn't look nearly as nice as it once did.
