    Liked the first ep.

Not a lot of (any?) adverts prior to the debut, which makes me wonder what the network thinks about this show. Kinda reminiscent of Rain Wilson's Backstrom, which I still miss.

I watched it because it seemed a little quirky. I did like the quirks, but otherwise thought it was a generic network procedural. I don't think I'll return.

I noticed the lead actor was the only one trying to sound Georgian.

you must not have watched much football over the last couple of weeks - ESPN has had tons of commercials for it

Like non freakin stop commercials about it. I’m sick of the show and that’s just from the commercial overexposure.

Interesting. I wonder what the target demographic for this show is?

I'm assuming the reason for the deluge of spots on ESPN was to pique the interest of partners/roommates being forced to watch ESPN over the holidays to suggest they watch it together.

Just watched the first two episodes and liked it enough to watch more.

When I had just seen advertising for it, I was almost hoping Trent was Mr Bean/Monk composite, but that is not the case.

One of the less credible moments was when he was supposed to be insecure about his inability to read. And the villain's accomplice was turned too easily.

Good show. I came for the little dog (on the first commercials) and was surprised I liked it

Like Will Trent because I lived in Atlanta most of my life. Rainne Wilson's Backstrom was a great show. One season was not enough.

Like it, but a lot of plot to cram into 40 minutes. (referring to the third episode.)

That's understandable. I, on the other hand think Will is so damn cute -- and I want one :p

I liked the first 2 episodes. The show is based on the novels of Karin Slaughter, a mystery writer, born in Atlanta where the show is shot and based. He’s a dyslexic savant GBI agent with a skill for seeing the not-so-obvious clues in a crime.

That said, I didn’t care at all for episode 3 due to the plot cramming previously mentioned, and some really bad editing. I’m really hoping they overcame this or I fear for the show’s fate.

its ok. but i can't help but feel like the novels read like these should be hour and a half tv movies instead of a run of mill tv show.

Episode 4 brought things back up a bit, but I fear it may not be edgy enough compared to other current shows of this type.

Also, what is up with the casting of the Will character? I like him enough, but just like Tom Cruise as Jack Reacher, the physicality of the book characters are all wrong.

Betty, the dog, is a nice addition.

  25. Much better than a similar show called “The Calling” on Peacock.
