I’m sitting here watching Million Dollar Arm and there were a few quick scenes of cows in them. So it made me think of this thread idea. I debated dogs, which I love, but they’re quite plentiful in films. Cows don’t have to be the main characters or pertinent to the plot, they can be in background scenes and such. So I’ll start off with Million Dollar Arm and Disney’s Home on the Range. Any other cow sightings?
Well it’s a Bull but in The Big Gundown it does a good job of kicking one of the pain character’s ass. So I guess you could say my response is bull.
There's a cow that gets shot and killed in the early part of PALE RIDER (1985). There's both a fake cow and a real cow used in the concluding scenes of the 1980 Neil Simon comedy "Seems Like Old Times" with Goldie Hawn, Chevy Chase and Charles Grodin. COWZ SAY "EAT MORE CHIKIN!" (I've seen those Chick-Fil-A commercials with the cows with the signs up). SILVER STREAK (1976) has a scene where Gene Wilder is supposed to milk a cow. 'Memba?
