I did or didn't buy 'The Monkees' TV series Blu-Ray set when it became available last week (a poll)

See. That's cool. You said you're not buying because you're not interested. Groovy.
But you didn't say "I'm not 8 years old" implying that anyone who did buy this is suffering under some manner or arrested development. So - I kinda stand by my reply. It was unnecessarily rude. Judgmental even. A threadcrap if you will.

 

Well, gentlemen, it's official. My dispute with Rhino concerning my defective box is over. The credit card company never heard from them and I was refunded my payment to them. I'll just glue the cover back on and call it day. It's unfortunate and it wasn't my intention to get the set for free, but the fact that I never got a personal response from them since November 29th of 2022 concerning the defective box, including 3 separate emails to different addresses along with photos of the damage, is honestly reprehensible for the $200 that they were/are charging. I don't feel badly at all...

Thankfully. It just seems odd that they didn’t even get back to the credit company at all concerning the dispute. I guess they know those box sets have potential problems & it’s easier for them to take the hit instead of dealing with it.

Absolutely. I don’t think the overall damage bothers that many people. It’s minimal. Unlike the price they’re asking…

 

yes, that's the way it goes...the collector wants everything PRISTINE especially at TWO HUNDRED clams! The non collector accepts the slight damage that we see as an extreme flaw! and life does on...but it stops for us! very funny.

Is it or isn't it sold old? Private resale will skyrocket when Rhino really does have non left.
