Whatever it is, I hope it's an attempt at live-action anime...with the usual insane soundtrack.

If there's anything more to go with those legs...I'd say there'll be plenty of appeal to it. ;)

Interesting. I always felt the Kill Bill movies had their own live-action anime vibe at times.

Not in QT’s wheelhouse, at least since Jackie Brown. I really enjoy most of his work but it is what it is.

Maybe it'll be a remake of 2001...only the apes destroy the monolith, Hal kills Dave Poole, and goes through the stargate himself, amidst a cosmically-immense Bollywood dance number.

A Tarantino version of an Argento giallo would probably be superb.

I almost enjoyed Once Upon A Time In Hollywood. Maybe in another twenty movie's time he might actually become a good filmmaker.

Excellent choice. Nobody new movies better than Pauline Kael. I had all her books of reviews. Read them all the time. Brian insight into what makes a movie work and why. Great writer who championed great films. I never knew Tarantino was a fan of hers. All I can say is thank God it’s not kill Bill part three. He’s matured.

I think her bluster sometimes overshadowed her more germane insights. She also hyped films like 'Nashville' that, imo, were just souffles. That said she did, for better or worse, energize reviewing, and her tenure at Paramount is an interesting and complex story. Like OUATIH, Tarantino might not be making the movie people think he's making:

Based on that article, it appears that the movie will be dull as hell due to the subject matter. But to each their own. I'm sure many will enjoy it. It's just not what I'd look for in a QT movie.

I just watched Copenhagen Cowboy and loved it. I thought it was a brilliant, wild ride and visually beautiful. But I can acknowledge that it appears to be made for me and maybe 5 other people in the world. This QT movie has the same vibe, it's not trying to please a vast majority of people, it's more of a passion project and I can appreciate that.

Of it's going to be about someone who's almost but not quite Pauline, does that mean he'll cover "Raising Kane"?

I like Margot Robbie, but she is in almost EVERYTHING lately. Time for a new face.

QT has some hits and some misses. His best work is behind him now. His last good film was "The Hateful Eight", "Hollywood" was a miss for me.
Whatever he does I will watch it, because even his worst films are better than the 98% of the dreck that comes out of the California cesspool.

Wasn't QT supposed to do Star Trek at one point?

Can’t be worse than Death Proof that’s part of his 10. Last movie ? Biographical/ satire by the sounds of it.
