A friend just sent me a photo of set times for the first show tonight. GAYLE from 6:25-6:45. Paramore from 6:55-7:40. Taylor from 8:05-11ish. A 3 hour set
Is this mountain time or pacific? I googled it and it showed Glendale is mountain time, but I know Arizona is a bit goofy with the time zone thing.
Well, if it is mountain time, that means it is 7:25 there now, meaning Paramore should be in the middle of their set. If it is pacific time, GAYLE is just starting. Time to bug your friend and find out!!
Oh he’s not there haha. He sent me the photo from either Reddit or a fan forum. I’m guessing mountain time though since there’s a thread with GAYLE’s setlist on the Taylor subreddit
3 hours, that’s Springsteen territory if she indeed plays that long (what felt like each and every interview before he started his tour mentioned Swift, so it will be interesting to see if they will do something together)
Autumn ⸆⸉ on Instagram: "Found some more accounts going live tonight and wrote them out! A few usernames I had seen on Twitter don’t exist? But most other ones do and I’ll tag them here." That account is great if your on Instagram. 8:05 start time less than an hour away. I’m ready for it.
Taylor Swift Eras Tour Setlist: All the Songs From the Glendale Show - Variety Here’s an article that is posting the set list as it’s performed.
I won’t be able to stay awake much longer to follow this to the end, but what a start. A little shocked that six Lover songs were played and Death By… wasn’t one of them, but still, she’s gonna end up playing a lotta songs. And I obviously assume that spoilers are allowed since this is the tour thread.
My girls have tickets for this in August if I recall correctly. However, the enthusiasm seen in this thread makes me wish I was going as well! It cracks me up though, they are planning outfits based on the "era" they wish to represent. I can't imagine that was much of a consideration for the likes of Led Zeppelin! Good times, this is great for music!
It's emotional for me to watch clips being posted online because of the vitality of the audience. I got to see Harry Styles back in November and his young audience was the same - it was beautiful. I could use more of that enthusiasm. I no longer appreciate being part of an older audience; largely indifferent, thinking about how to avoid traffic on the route home instead of being fully engaged and communing with the music. Listening to Swift's fans screaming every word and having the very nature of their existence transformed by this experience is moving.
