The A-side is punk. The B-side is ... something else. The Replacements, "I'm in Trouble"/"If Only You Were Lonely":*

    * Gotta respect Westerberg's correct use of the subjunctive.

The Collectors (who later morphed into Chilliwack). The A-side of their 3rd single "Make It Easy" was a galloping psychedelic riff fest, while the B-side "Fat Bird" was a fiddle based folk jam.

That's not very good. Laughing Gnome was the better choice:)
    Certainly contrary though.

People diss Harrison's 'Indian' songs but they are as essential to The Beatles catalogue and sound as any of their material .
I hold 'Within You Without You' in as high esteem as 'Strawberry Fields Forever' and 'Hey Jude'

That's good fun. Certainly a shocker if you wanted more of the a-side. Or just the Fleetwood Mac sound.

LOVE SONG (OH JENE) was the original A side of ACDC's BABY PLEASE DON'T GO 45rpm back in '74/'75.
The jocks on Melbourne AM radio decided to play the b side (B.P.D.G) and the rest is history.

54 seconds long. I listened to the actual b-side as well.

Hmmm. Pretty much a waste of time. A great example of contrariness but you have to wonder why he thought it should be released?

    Thanks.

  14. I’ve always loved “The Inner Light” and felt it deserved a spot on an album. ‘Hey Jude” aka “The Beatles Again” would have been a natural place for it.

:kilroy: The B-side of "Sound Asleep" was even weirder than both of those (as if the A-side wasn't weird enough).

That's funny. But I doubt it stands up for a lot of plays.

:D Elton John has already gotten a couple of mentions in this thread, but neither can compare to the flipside of "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road."

It’s a a funny little throwaway, meant as nothing more than a laugh. Makes an amusingly brief B-side.
