    "My Cup Runneth Over" is one hell of an enduring classic. One would have to be a total cynic to not get something out of that one.

    I see plenty of Ames Brothers vinyl at the thrifts, in addition to occasional CDs by Ed and/or his brothers.

    While I like the 'Daniel Boone' TV series, I never found him particularily convincing as Mingo. A family member and I agreed on that, and as a gag gift, she gave me an Ed Ames LP. :rolleyes:

    Sad news. Ed was the last surviving Ames brother, I've been a fan since I was a kid.
