All the CDs my local Dollar Tree gets are Drew's Famous compilations, but I did pick up a Joe Tex comp there once.

Hmmm...I the CDs I've found at Dollar Tree have always been absolute bottom of the barrel junk.

Those titles you list are good stuff. I wonder if I need to make a trip...

I went at lunch time and founf some of these. I see someone beat me to it.

    Other discs I saw:
Barenaked Ladies - We are Me (50)
Less Than Jake - Inwith the out crowd (20)
Art Garfunkel - Some Enchanted Evening (6 of them)
    Bjork -Volta (one)

A single Sammy - a probably 50 of the Phish discs listed earlier.

I bought the Barenaked Ladies Everything To Everyone CD/DVD-AUDIO

This was the one in San Diego next to Wall Mart in Mission Gorge.

    also found;

Beyond The Sea - original motion picture soundtrack (Kevin Spacey sings Bobby Darin)
    Phish - Round Room
Barenaked Ladies - We Are Me

  9. The Barenaked Ladies "Everything to Everyone" CD/DVD-A set is available at some Dollar Tree stores still. That is quite a deal, Warner has been dumping DVD-A's to liquidators recently.

I checked a Dollar Tree when I was at the Outer Banks, NC last week and nothing:shake:

I saw these at my local Dollar Tree but didn't pick up the Beyond The Sea soundtrack as I prefer listening to Bobby sing his hits on my CD player. I saw the Paris Hilton CD at my local Dollar Tree and have no interest in it, not even for $1.

Found a couple of the Phish titles, including Slip Stitch & Pass and Story of the Ghost. Also found the 2 cd Black Crowes "Lost Crowes" set, and Duncan Sheik's Brighter Later set.

    Back to lo-res for Warner

And all their dualdiscs are showing up as factory sealed "used" disks at FYE.

I'll have to check to see if there is a Dollar Tree around here. I typically ignore those "Dollar" stores.

update: I've located a Dollar Tree right next door to the FYE. That's pretty funny. I'll have to check it out next week sometime.

I picked up Beyond the Sea and Bjork at my local DT. They had a few of the Hagar, Blunt and Phish discs, but I was hoping to find the Crowes or Besterberg.

Went to my local Dollar Tree. Found most of the titles others have listed EXCEPT the Besterberg (the one I most wanted) and the Black Crowes. Also found most/all of the Captain & Tenille reissues from a few years ago...Boy, those didn't last long at retail...

I went to a Dollar Tree today for the first time. Makes Wal-mart look high class. Just about as many items scattered all over the floor that were on shelves.

And they don't sell CDs of any kind at the Utah stores.

I forgot to mention three other items I found, not previously mentioned:

Pretenders "Loose in LA" live DVD
Charlie Daniels Band "Volunteer Jam" DVD
Robinella "Solice for the Lonely" CD

I haven't found the Tony Orlando & Dawn CDs yet but I have found the Art Garfunkel-Some Enchanted Evening CD and although the music is great, the mastering and/or mixing is very hot and compressed.

These are remastered by forum fav Dennis Drake, incidentally...

They're generous with bonus tracks. Not so generous with liner notes, which are weak, particularly in light of the fact that someone seemed to care enough to make these "deluxe" in other ways.

I didn't realize Dollar Tree carried cds until earlier when I went in to purchase a few toiletries.

    Ended up picking up:

    Barenaked Ladies - Are Me
Panic at the Disco - Pretty Odd
Phish - Story of the Ghost (spare copy now.. why not)
Phish - Round Room (same as above)

If anyone finds new albums that may be of interest, please update this thread.

Wow. I thought there would be a bigger turn-over of these CD's. They went into DollarTree store circulation at the beginning of last summer.
