I have four of them in the ECM New Series, and I love them all.
Miserere is my 2nd favorite (Tabula Rasa being no 1)

His Passio is what got me hooked. I have the Hilliard on ECM.

Alex Ross has written about the impact Part can have, especially Tabula Rasa

    I love Part. :righton:

    I recommend:

    1. Fratres - Rudolf Werthen, Orchestra of Flanders on Teldec

    2. Te Deum - Estonian Phil Chamber Choir on ECM New Series

    3. Kanon Pokajanen - Estonian Phil Chamber Choir on ECM

Jay, The Karl Bohm Beethoven Symphonies with VPO box set does not yet exist, not sure why? I am just not interested in getting a bunch of DG twofers.

Hey, don't feel bad. It took awhile for this thread to take off. It even died a few times and came back. Maybe post the question here?

The fact that we get a lot of traffic here is why I suggested it. That way, many folks will see it and perhaps reply.

I am still thinking about the titles in my collection, but they turn out to be mostly commercial labels, small though they may be. It's a good idea, I must not be adventurous enough:D

Heck that makes it even more fun!
I have a buncha unique Synth and Ambient music.
Few from a place called RockNRollstation.com that was shut down a few years back. I met some interesting people there that had bands/groups.
I have a friend locally that does His own synth Music and I have about all His Cd's. David Sweet.....He does Sci-Fi typa Music.

Didn't work over here. Zinman and Harnoncourt do a lot more for me, followed by Bruggen among the HIP-sters.

    Is this 1963 recordings?

The No. 7 (9) in C. major, D. 944 he did DG 923 037, is my current fave of the Schubert Syms. It might be the one in this set? Great Golden Age stuff!

Just listened to Mozart's "Abduction" Harmoniemusik on Pentatone (SACD) over the weekend. Performers were from St. Martin's. Very enjoyable with great woodwind sound.
