Yeah, sorry for bumping this up again but I'm getting pretty jealous of those Beach Boys fans and their imminent goodies. I know that people haven't been waiting for Impack, Empire or the "tropical" version of My Share Of The Sidewalk for forty odd years but they would be nice.

Are we getting closer? The Monkees' Facebook page is asking what our favorite Instant Replay track is...

I think the person responsible for the facebook page is reading this forum. They saw us ask, and they post another little "hint".

I listened the the "Birds, Bees" deluxe recently and a lot of the "Instant Replay" tracks are represented. Do you think they would repeat them for an "Instant Replay" Deluxe set?

If you heard the 2 Monkees special Andrew Sandoval did a few months ago on the internet radio, you know there are a lot more alt versions of IR tracks. So, they might repeat a couple (like they did on the Head box), but not many, I'd guess.

Get the best of both worlds and be a fan of both groups! I am! Then it's Christmas more often! ;)

Pre-Rhino, who would have thought the later Monkees albums would be reissued at all, let alone as mega-deluxe editions? This is really cool.

If the person is reading this board, and asking what is our favorite IR track, that is a big hint to this post -- the answer is in the poll -- I Won't Be The Same Without Her. Personally, I think Through The Looking Glass, While I Cry, Teardrop City and You And I are in the elite class on the album's bell curve.

My faves are all the unreleased material that's still laying around- finished or not- and waiting to be heard!

All I see on Rhino's website is the forthcoming vinyl reissue of the Head soundtrack. So far.

"Good Clean Fun" but no "Listen to the Band"?????? Yes, I know it's technically a Present track, but so is "Good Clean Fun".

Wowzers! Is it too early to complain about shipping?

I'll assume tracks 26 or 27 through 30 on 'disc three' will be sourced from the existing videotape of the 33 1/3 special. It's great to see that audio (and original backing tracks) get an official release. The only things I would add would be 'Listen to the Band' and the reworked 'I'm a Believer.'

It'll be great to have all those fantastic Nesmith tunes newly remastered!

I'm also glad to see that the 33 1/3 tracks will make it out as audio releases. Considering that "California Here it Comes" was included on the Head set and the abundance of backing tracks from the Instant Replay sessions (including those that were originally released on the album or singles) on disc 3, I'm wondering if the plan was to originally have only two CDs in this set, but then expanded to three.

So does this leave the door open for a deluxe Present? I sure hope so as there's some good stuff that's still MIA ("Little Red Rider", "If You Have the Time", "The Good Earth", etc).

Looks pretty good and with the omission of "Listen To The Band" and other tracks like "If You Have The Time", "How Can I Tell You", "Opening Night", "Angel Band", "Little Red Rider", "Down The Highway" and all those Nesmith backing tracks from 1969, I am hoping there will be a "Present" deluxe as well.

Very happy to see "All The Gray Haired Men" and "That's What It's Like Loving You" will finally see the light of day. I can do without the 33 1/3 garbage but hey, I am a completist too and I LOVE "Naked Persimmon".

Can't wait for this to come out and thanks for posting the track listing!

I'm wondering the same thing. I'm actually a little disappointed in the number of backing tracks on this set (which I suppose puts me in the minority). There are still so many great songs that could have fleshed out a disc 3.

This set looks very promising. Someday Man alternate mix...wonder if that is the Monkee Business LP version with the chatter, or something unreleased?

We need to see full details of the versions on the set...hopefully soon.
