I think the Ringo photo with the Stevie Wonder LP in plain view is the most interesting of the bunch... I'm wondering what the LP behind that one is. I suspect someone here can identify it.

The link identifies the one lying flat (underneath the 45s) and speculates what the 45 at the top of the stack might have been.

I have no clue when this photo was taken - except clearly after the Stevie Wonder LP hit the shelves...

The photo with John & Yoko holding each of the Plastic Ono Band LPs is cool.

And it looks to me like the one with Brian Epstein was photographed the day they did the promo films for "Paperback Writer" and "Rain". But I suspect Epstein wasn't holding an LP - the lettering is in the wrong place. I suspect this was something Capitol sent over for approval.

Also under the Stevie Wonder album is The Orlons - Not Me.

    That didn't take long !

Obviously you've hung out on South Street :)

Can you confirm if "Bad Boy" on that album is the same Larry Williams song the Fabs later
    covered ?

Bad Boy is "Bad Girl" by The Miracles with the gender reversed.
Mary Wells and The Gleems also recorded it that way,

Actually that link I provided is the 2nd in a series of three.

The other two links can be easily gotten to.

And it looks like that a lot of the detective work for mystery LPs
was done previously by people who visited that web page.

Someone else spotted a Marvelettes ("Live on Stage") album in the
    Ringo photo.

And there's another later photo that shows Paul holding some albums
and those were identified to be a Bob Dylan (very easy), a Ben E. King
album (not so easy), and a Chuck Jackson album (almost impossible
to see - but I think it is correct).

I don't think anyone identified this album being carried by John.

I'm guessing that one will be easy to identify for someone here.

Actually, it's a mock-up of the trunk Yesterday and Today cover, which seems to contradict the story that the cover was slapped together in a rush in light of the furor over the album's butcher cover, since the Epstein photo was taken weeks before the butcher cover controversy. See Bruce Spizer's Capitol Albums Book, pages 126-127.

I don't have the Spizer book - or I guess I would already be familiar with this photo (?)

If my guess for the date is accurate, and the photo is from the day they filmed the "Paperback Writer" and "Rain" promos... it would have been taken a few weeks before the PB/R single (and approximately one month) before the Capitol LP were released.

It's an LP called "electronic music" On Turnabout records, with composers like Mimaroglu, etc. - I own it.

Hopefully Ringo still has the records but has dumped the drapes.

Ringo had a house fire back in Nov. 1979(a house rented that was owned by Harry Nillisson). They say he lost his gold records and memorabilia. Wonder if his record collection was part of that.

It's not the best of its kind, but I have a fondness for nascent electronics/avant-garde. It's a cool piece.

Looks like that series of photos of Beatles holding records is actually larger than I originally presumed.

Poking around that website I saw it went to six separate parts.

A lot of the records in hand are ones the four made (together and solo).

One of the records is a 45 by Peter Cook and Dudley Moore. You can't really see the record at all - but its from a magazine with a caption that identifies it as a 45 of "Bo Dudley"

I've always wondered what records my heroes listened to.
