Thanks. I remember seeing their reunion concert (was it in the Royal Albert Hall?) on TV when I was a kid. I was glued to the screen. I rushed to buy the LP (must have been this one http://www.discogs.com/Everly-Brothers-The-Reunion-Concert/release/2233409) of the same concert when it came out. Unfortunately I lost my small record collection in one of my house moves.

Anyone want to share what their essential albums are? Any audiophile releases out there?

Fascinating video. The second one also, with my favourite Everly's song "Walk Right Back".

Ford and the Everlys have an amazing vocal blend--really made me sit up. Don and Phil were my first great radio obsession--didn't see much of them on tv, but seems the camera loved them too. Actually like this live WRB more than the record. Thanks!

Well bless their little pea-pickin' hearts, that was great. I was never much into the Everly's but love Tennessee Ernie.

I always thought Don looked like Rick Nelson in that Walk Right Back clip.

Were these clips also in the Rock and Roll Odyssey tape?

Superb, Steve. Nothing better. Now all we need is a AF Gold Tennessee Ernie Ford compilation.

Are those J200's they're playing? I've never seen one with double pickguards, let alone white ones!

Folks, Paul Surratt & Ron Furmanek found & secured over 50 two inch color masters for Ernie back in 1983, look at this photo of some of them stacked up when they first retrieved them!

The Everly's episode, along with many others have been available for sale on Ernie's website for several years now:

    GREAT stuff worth owning!

Can someone tell me which is which of the Everly Brothers? My favorite is the one with the darker hair.

The dark-haired one would be Don.

For some ridiculous reason, the only vivid TV memory I have of TEF was when he "fixed" Ricky's broken maracas.

So the the one on the right is Don and the left is Phil? I'm still confused as there is conflicting info on the internet. The Everly on the right is my favorite.
