I have many of the current MOFIs and all are perfect as far as the pressing goes.
    Maybe it's just that title?

Here's hoping. I like Weezer just fine, but Sinatra deserves no less than perfection...

Exactly, it's not as if AF hasn't had the occasional screw up either.

Music Direct has slipped the LPs to November. Acoustic Sounds is now showing November 30 for all six releases.

(Amazon's December 11th date, the second Tuesday in December, is looking more likely all the time.)

Just a little "FYI", but the other night when I spoke with Rob LoVerde at Mobile Fidelity, he was actually working on "Where Are You?", when I called. Naturally, I asked him how soon this would get released and his answer was, "I don't know for sure". Rob spends a LOT of time and puts a lot of love into these Sinatra reissues and I'm just glad that they are releasing more titles! I can't wait to hear his work on these!

I'll be happy with the LP's - they nailed "Only The Lonely" when they did it before!

Chris C: Thanks for the FYI. Good to know.

Let's just hope that "Where are you?" does not become a post-Christmas customer complaint. ;)

I'm actually looking forward to these three discs more than any others right now.

Well, that wasn't really "insider" information, just something that came up while we talked and since we all know that they are eventually coming, I guess it's no real surprise that he'd have to work on them, sooner or later! It's just good to know that right now is sooner!

Best Buy is also listing the 12/11 date for vinyl...

Probably coincidental, but that's the day before Frank Sinatra's 97th birthday. Very little to celebrate this year, in the way of new releases.

Music Direct has now slipped the SACD availability to December 2012.
Amazon.com still has the vinyl releases set for December 11, but has not yet listed the SACDs.
Blue-Eyes.com is showing all six releases "in stock," but I find that hard to believe.

I am really hoping that these can ship before Christmas, as these are on my list

More titles added: Frank Sinatra - In The Wee Small Hours, Songs For Swingin' Lovers, Come Fly With Me, Point of no Return, A Swingin' Affair. Let the speculation begin. (Info lifted from this post.)

Also: "This Time I'm Swingin'" by Dean Martin.

I hope the release date is announced as, "After Matt wins the lottery."

    Sorry, just have to celebrate!

Point Of No Return! Wonder about the details there?

Will they use the correct tapes on Swingin' Lovers?

Not that I enjoy being an I-told-you-so, but that was one of my better Amazing Kreskin imitations.

One thing's for sure: After all the discussion about it here at SHF, there will be no excuse for them not to use the correct tapes this time around.

Hmmmm. Should I sell the silver box?

    Better hold off.

I'd just ordered the Songs For Young Lovers/Swing Easy two-fer (the Music For Pleasure edition). But if my eyes don't deceive me, those albums are not on the list of MoFi CDs, correct?

    Correct.

Not all of Sinatra's Capitol albums are on the MFSL short list. Save something for 2014...

I am new to the world of Sinatra. All I own is the Capitol Xmas collection from a few years back and last year's Best Of. I am wondering where to go next? I would like to get some of the Mofi CD's/SACD's so I could transfer to the iPod in Apple Lossless for portable use, plus the convenience but the other part of me thinks that the LP is the only way to properly listen to the albums.
I have these in my Acoustic Sounds 'Wishlist' at the moment.
    Nice & Easy
    Only The Lonely
    No One Cares
    Where Are You

    Opinions?
