...and where is "The Rebel" ????
Unbelievable that they skip that track again...very strange, cause I heard a complete stereo version of that track in studio quality...so it must be in circulation...

"To ensure pristine audio quality for this very special limited edition set, the original master tapes were remastered at a 24-bit/96kHz resolution, giving a listening experience to rival being present at the original Black Sabbath recording sessions. "

    Hopefully.

I'd like to get this, but the price is ridiculous. The Beatles set is cheaper and has more in it.

I'll be anxious to hear the reviews from some of you on this - I'm extremely happy with the Rhino remasters from the last couple of years, can't imagine I'd have to get something.
Here's hoping they spin these out individually so we have options.

so no American release, no plans to sell albums individually

still, the digital download voucher included with the album is a cool idea and it'll be interesting to see/hear how these digital files stack up to the most recent round of Pearce remasters. plus 180g vinyl, provided it's not being pressed by Rainbo, should be lovely.

Different labels, North America is Warner/Rhino, rest of the world is Vertigo/Universal, I'm pretty sure it will be pressed somewhere in Europe. I might bite on the Amazon.ca offer.

Maybe working with tape 100% all the way thru the chain is a pain in the ass with minimal sonic benefits over transferring the original masters at high resolution into Pro tools and working from there. Would love to hear from pros that do this for a living.

Looks tempting, considering all I have are the WB cd's.
