Looks good but it's $50 on Amazon right now. I will hold out for a better deal.

Good point. For that matter the CD sounds great too! I don't need this on LP.

Amazon.uk has it for around £15, but I don't know how this would translate, including postage . . .

Record Store Day Black Friday - Featuring the original U.S. track list
    Release Date: Fri, 11/29/2013
Jethro Tull’s third album BENEFIT saw the band transition from the traditional blues rock found on their previous albums and signaled the further evolution of their sound that would be present on their future album. BENEFIT is set for release on 180-gram vinyl on Black Friday. Featuring the original U.S. track list, the LP will be limited to 3,000 individually numbered copies and will be available for a suggested list price of $24.98.

I got my copy from Amazon UK. The total including shipping was $24.30. Nice quiet vinyl that sounds real good.

Got mine too. Excellent thick cardstock (in contrast to the lastest King Crimson 'Larks' which came in the same package with the sleeve badly split) , dead flat, quiet vinyl. My only slight query would be whether it has been cut a little quiet..but still well worth acquiring :)

So are they only doing the U.S. track list or is there a seperate release with the British version?

    Help!

I'm a bit confused? Do I understand this correctly - that the Black Friday RSD 'Benefit' LP is different from the LP being offered on Amazon?

Yes, that's the (Steven Wilson stereo mix) UK version of the album. Black Friday, 3,000 US Reprise (Teacher) versions will be available with the Steven Wilson stereo mix.

How do we know the RSD release of the US tracklisting will be the SW remix?

Where did you hear that? I'm just asking because I've seen some places online say it's the original mix.

    Also because of this. [IMG]

This is the RSD Black Friday version, in case it's not clear.

Perfect, thanks. If you are the same Bull Moose from the record store chain you might want to update your page since it says it is likely not the SW remix.

Yes, sounds excellent and slightly warmer than the cd version, but that could simply be due to my playback equipment.
