Just started in on the final season of Legion. Brilliant, haunting, and affective. Also a little hard to follow if you're not concentrating on every detail - this is not for the casual.
Fleabag. Last episode season one. Must be the most depressing episode ever. Needed a government warning after the credits
Dead to Me (Netflix Series) Episodes #7 & #8. It's so good, I've been taking my time w/it. Still have 2 left!!
Silent Witness (season 22) I solved the case in about 25 seconds and it took them 2 hours and lots of forensics.
It's about forensic scientists solving cases using science instead of gut instinct. Every episode is a two parter and the setup is usually brilliant. In the early episodes an actress called Amanda Burton would basically come in at the end and prove, using science, that the police were completely wrong about everything and would do a Columbo-like narration about what really happened. Twenty two seasons later it's completely lost its way.
I tried 'Deadwood' and i really wanted to like it. The overuse of language really put me off. I got through about 4 or 5 episodes until the constant word use of 'C#$#sucker' ruined it for me.
actually the swearing! made me enjoy it more! It's a TV show! ppl use bad words; it's life...it's reality... it's authentic...ppl do a lot worse today in the sick, twisted, psychotic, upside down moral-les world we live in today...cursing should be the least of our worries!
