I'm really looking forward to these SACD releases especially "Point of No Return" a vastly underrated gem in my view. Once we have these 8 new discs in our collections we will then hopefully have 10 wonderfully mastered Capitol titles once you include the 2 recent MFSL gold CD's.

Bob, you do make a good point, I had forgotten about the original release date in this thread as well as the date being pushed back on Music Direct's website. I certainly second them being released before Christmas!!!

Staggered release dates would suit me fine, financially speaking.

    +1

    Agreed!

I can't afford them all at once and I don't want to miss out so I hope they are staggered releases.

Today is the last release Tuesday of the month, so it doesn't look like Mobile Fidelity met the posted November 2012 release date for the three vinyl issues.

It would be awesome to get these in a week or two!

I'm really looking forward to Where Are You?, it's been impossible to find a clean mono original. And, it will be interesting to hear if Mofi can meet or exceed the already stunning audio quality of the Swingin' Sessions Capitol -D2 vinyl.

Music Direct is still showing December, but Acoustic Sounds is now showing January 25th 2013!!! I really hope Music Direct is right about December---they are on my Christmas list!!!

What about the SACD'S are they due at the same time as the vinyl.

They were never due at the same time. It looks like the SACD's won't make it in time to use as stocking stuffers. This comment refers to the SACD release date:

That's fine by me! :hide: I want these as bad as anyone but with Christmas, two teenagers & the Beatles box my bank balance say's not yet so the new year is fine for me.

I haven't ordered the LPs either (just the SACDs), Jim. I'm just curious whether Music Direct met the reported ship date yesterday. Their Soundbytes newletter this week doesn't mention the Sinatra releases.

    Get your credit cards ready...

The five new releases are now available for pre-order from Music Direct on 180g LP and Hybrid SACD.

Note: The only stereo release will be POINT OF NO RETURN. In particular, and of special interest, COME FLY WITH ME will be a mono issue.

^^^ Uh, oh! Someone better tell MFSL they've got the wrong cover for POINT OF NO RETURN. That one is missing a track ("As Time Goes By" which should be after "These Foolish Things" on the second-to-last line).

Isn't that also the 12-song version of the cover for "A Swingin' Affair," too? (You can even see the SM reissue catalog number at the upper left corner. Oops.) $(KGrHqJ,!g4E45mgZjy4BOV-4b2PTw~~60_3.jpg
