Just had to change my vote because a copy of Michael Jackson’s Dangerous was included in a cd lot I picked up. The only ones on the list I don’t have is the Celine Dion and Shania Twain.

well, the point is that the people here on this website are some of the most knowledgeable people on earth when it comes to rock and roll music and a very miniscule amount of them own either houston's or dion's album and one is in the rock hall and i would not rule out the other as time goes on.

so the point being that rock and roll music buyers do not buy those 2 albums, grandma's and mom's do to play in the minivan.

sorry if you don't like what the numbers tell me, but numbers don't lie.

and don't think for even a second that all those years at caesars palqace in las vegas didn't help boost those celine dion numbers immensely. as soon as they got home after seeing the show they got the CD's.

First of all, "The Bodyguard" is a soundtrack album, although it did have a huge hit on it. Her first album, especially, deserves to be in that list instead. And this list is the "Top 25 Biggest selling Albums Of All Time".
Not the "Top 25 Biggest Selling Rock And Roll Albums of All Time". And this forum is not just about rock and roll music.

No surprise that the artists/bands with 450+ votes are the recordings SH.tv I'd figure most forum members would own.

I own 11 and wouldn't mind a few others. What surprises me is how many forum members own The Beatles '1' on a forum where I bet many members own many, if not all, of their studio lps.

  15. Yes, I'm surprised as well. I own all the albums but only via the mono box packages (obviously plus the sublime Abbey Road and the godawful Let It Be) in recent years. I can see no point in "1" at all and have zero desire to own it.

    Nor should he be.

And there's 0% chance Celine Dion gets inducted, too!

My wife owns three and I own three. Our only crossover is Sgt. Pepper's.
On the other hand, we both own dozens of N.Y. Dolls/Heartbreakers/
    Johnny Thunders/Television/Ramones/C.B.G.B.'s (and related) releases.

Shania Twain – Come on Over
    Grease OST

Celine Dion – Falling into You
