I've just realised his name was written on Nat's left shoulder...

J.T. I on't know if you are aware but, the Hollywood Bowl Concert has been issued on cd. It's a boot of course. it is on Ebay. It is coupled with a
    Sinatra / Dean Martin concert titled " 3 kings & a Queen. "

This is a gem that I pulled out and played for my girlfriend last week along with NKC story Box (45 RPM). Those were the main ones I added upon release. The sound is breath taking, amazing, just amazing. Trying to figure out which is the next one I should add to the collection...

Did you work with the three-tracks for the DCC version?

Yes, Steve stated that above. The DCC was a remix.

    1956 mono original line mix.
1957 open reel "Z" version mix at 7 1/2 ips, not usable.
1959 stereo mix of 10 songs for new 45/45 stereo vinyl, weak sounding and grim.
1959 stereo mix of 10 songs for quarter track open reel version, weak but not too grim.
1990's DCC Compact Classics stereo remix (by me)
2000's Analogue Productions stereo remix (by me)

Steve said a few days ago that it was unfortunately not possible. You can always write to the good people of AP with your request.

Some of the other Nat King Cole AP 45 titles have become available again recently. Why not possible for "Love is the Thing?"

That's for the Analogue Productions team to answer, which is why I invite you to send them an e-mail with you requests/questions.

The only missing piece from my collection of the AP NKC releases. All the NKC titles came back in stock on Acoustic Sounds last year except for this one.

Still hoping there's a chance it could get restocked someday, but I'm guessing the rights have long since expired. Another case of "buy now or cry later."

    :sigh:

The AP team has told me there are no known plans for restocking this title, unfortunately.

You might look for a DCC of this title. I don't what they go for on the open market, and while it's not as astonishingly great as the AP 45, it's still exceptional, leagues better than a stereo OG. On the other hand, an original mono is sweeet!

I have a copy of the DCC LP and was thinking of selling it. I have all the 45s. The DCC seems superfluous now.

Has AP restocked The NKC Story set? I had to buy that one secondhand. It was not cheap.

It is, except for the bonus tracks on it. But I'm considering the same thing.
