This looks like a great turntable! Anyone know which brand this is?

Great photo and some great and unexpected records there

    Incredible String Band
    Steve Miller Band
    Dr. John
    Jimmy Smith
    HP Lovecraft
    The Youngbloods
    Hair OST

and if you look closely at the Zep LP, at the Atlantic logo, that's the now very valuable version with the turquoise lettering. It'd be great if he still has these records.

This thread has reconfirmed that Hendrix is pretty much the coolest and most laid-back guy ever. How great would it have been to spin some vinyl with Jimi while he sat there with an acoustic just picking away.

I don't think there's ever been a bad photo of Jimi. A truly sad loss. He'd have always been cool.

Looking at a Placido Domingo with backwash of bootlegs, he should have checked out that Yardbirds More Golden Eggs instead.

Crown Of Creation looks really out of place with the rest of the albums.

Nice spot. This is the album in question, and it fits in much better than the others:

It’s probably the album he’s playing:

I'm so happy to hear Linda singing on this record, and hearing songs about her, in a way that I absolutely did not appreciate when I was a little kid. Paul really wanted her to be involved in his music. It's obviously him going like, "Come on, sing! No, it sounds great. I'll sing along with you. It'll be fun." And when you're younger, you look at it like, "Oh, of course she's trying to horn in." But it really is not super-fun to go on tour and play arenas. And she's doing a job that he wanted her to do so they could be together. And, to me, it's to her credit that she was like, "Alright, I'm game, I'll go along." There are a lot of background vocals on this album done with wit and humor and panache, and it's nice to have her voice in there.
