Now that it's Xmas Day I'm watching the 1951 version of "A Christmas Carol." If I had a damn 3D tv, then I'd watch Zemeck's 3D version.

As always around here Christmas Eve. Sim is THE Scrooge.

Today, no movies. Time for quiet. But in the weeks leading up, Christmas In Connecticut, The Bishop's Wife, and The Man Who Came To Dinner.

We watched Christmas Vacation yesterday, between opening presents and having dinner.

    It's a family favorite.

I saw this a few times this year (one of the few recent Christmas movies in rotation on cable). I had very low expectations, but I thought it had a few really good moments. Much better than the last few raunchy holiday themed movies of the last few years. I doubt it will become annual viewing though.
