Very new here and slowly trying to get about the forum. A mixed Thread and different genres.

My first shot at posting some the music I like and here is one of my faves.

Welcome to the forum. Great to see a new Roxy & Bryan Ferry fan here.

You might want to change the spelling of Brian to Bryan though!:):righton:

Way way way back in 1974 Roxy Music were touring the U.K. after the release of “Country Life”. Me and my buddies didn’t have money for tickets so I wrote to Bryan Ferry care of island records and said “Dear Bryan, we are 4 Roxy fans with no money. Please send us 4 free tickets for your show at Leeds University. If you see Eno kick him up the a**”. About a week later 4 tickets arrived in the post. Great show too.

Perhaps Monty Python's Life of Brian got him confused? ;)

After receiving a mash note like that how could he resist!
Saw them at The Academy Of Music mid 1974 (I think). First show I remember seeing with a reel to reel tape machine on stage. Great show indeed.

Welcome to the SH Forums. You will find many Brian Ferry/Roxy Music fans here. I saw Roxy Music live in Germany many years ago and Brian Ferry had on a tuxedo.

I saw him for the first time this past Sept. and loved it. The Avalon/Boys And Girls era got a lot of attention!

Welcome to the forum! Big fan of Ferry and Roxy as well--finally got to see Bryan live a couple years ago in Montreal, and it was a fantastic show. I just missed seeing him in Cleveland back when he was touring Mamouna. I assumed I'd have to miss the show due to a first date--but then my date arrived and suggested we try making the show! But it was nearly over by the time we arrived at the venue, so I had to miss it after all!
