I signed up since I certainly blow more than $100 on random stupid stuff throughout the year, so some music I'll enjoy and physical media I can resell if push comes to shove is a great deal.

With that said, 2019 better step up. The 2017 releases had 2 home runs (21 & 23), even if they weren't game-winning grand slams like some past years had (like 2013 and 2014). The 2018 releases were small ball: they weren't bad and they got the job done, but c'mon.

Let's hope they do not remove the very long between song silences.

Bank/debit card is currently on lock down due to some fraudulent activities.

I wont be in town to sort it out for 2 weeks

Do I stand a chance of still scoring a sub by November 7? :(

Without hesitation, I put my order in. It’s such a beautiful thing to have these shows roll in throughout the year.

One can never be sure but if previous years are any indication, the answer is yes.

Per dead.net: EARLY BIRD SUBS WILL END ON FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 9, 2018 AT 11:59PM.

Meaning that subs may still be available after 11/9, but not at the reduced cost or with free shipping.

Hey, what's Burt's brother's username? He was asking about how long the sub would available and we all thought longer than this last week.

Subscribing takes all the anxiety out of the process. An obvious choice for the first show, not a surprise but it's back in the Vault so ABCD, LLC, will cash in.

I sure do love The Wheel, so this is good news. This setlist is crazy. I really can't wait to hear it.

Amen to this. Even if you don't love the 80s, it's nice t0 get out of the 72-77 zone every once in a while! I never thought a day would come where I'd need a little break from 70s Dead, but here we are.

I didn't subscribe in 2018, and I don't regret it, given the four picks. But something tells me I should jump back in this year. I just hope it isn't all 70s, especially after the massive PACNW box, which most of us still probably have yet to fully absorb.

Despite my relative noobiness to these whole shenanigans I’m already starting to share your orneriness in these matters , particularly regarding ‘77, Dark Star and Blue Ron.

Thanks for the heads up on the 2019 subscription...immediately went to Dead.net and ordered. I was really surprised, as I thought I'd receive an email first. Not a single problem ordering on line.

Inevitably they’ll do away with the “dead air” parts, but anytime something of note happens (stage banter or a bunch of tuning) they seem to leave it in. Thank goodness.

I LOVE the Matrix of this show from Hunter Seamons where it truly puts you in the 5th row at the Auditorium. It’s a must listen.

Love this pick. Just need 10/29/77 released now, and I'll be okay with a few years moratorium on '77 releases.
