The Shield a dynamo show indeed. That was another one I've watched in the past two years since this thread started. Must lead a lonely life.
Vikings series 1&2. Yet to see the third series. Don't really like this show. Have they discovered America yet?
So 2016. Watching The Leftovers. Anything else new out/coming out. Prefered genre: Drama, period, sci fi, western?
Black Sails started it's 3rd season a few weeks ago and just keeps getting better. I think Magic City spanks Mob City in every way! For some reason I always felt it took place in the Godfather universe. The style, the music, the 'moods', and even some of the actors. I think it was a conscious move on the part of the creators. Really enjoyed Magic City! I forget the name of the show but it's a new one coming up on BBCA starring the actor who played House and the actress from Broadchurch (another fantastic English series. The BBCA is like a British HBO!). Another show I can't recommend highly enough is Kingdom, terrific show that's 2 seasons in centered on MMA fighting. It's like a modern day adult version of Friday Night Lights, really good! And Vinyl's coming!
Thx for interesting info. Looking good!!! Yeah! Magic City ' a one handed novel. Still have to watch Season 2. The movie version with Bruce Willis should be out soon.
Season 2 rocked! Somewhere along the line James Cann comes in as an old school Chicago godfather. You can't help but think that this is 'Sonny', if he hadn't got whacked on the causeway!
Glad to hear that Black Sails continues to be good. I probably won't get to see it til the disc set hits the stores. . . really enjoyed the first two seasons.
I don't think these have been mentioned as worth a look: Person of Interest Bates Motel Silicon Valley (HBO)
True Detective: Season 1: True Detective: Season 2: Actually haven't ever finished it. Watched the first 4 or 5 episodes, then gave up. And I had such high hopes after Season 1.
