I've been working in short bursts over the past few months on music for a friend's microbudget feature film, and I've found Guy Michelmore's videos on film scoring to be both fun and educational. The best of them stimulate my imagination and give me ideas to play with, and I learn something too.
These are a bunch of American (and I would assume, Canadian) athletes whose forte is cliff jumping/diving. In this video, they are jumping off cliffs in Canada. The scenery is just spectacular. It is scary just to watch!
Watching Mack Stevens flip through endless crates of vinyl & coming up with nada is like virtual reality!
Love these Kids Interview Bands w/11 year old Piper conducting interviews - Knew this one w/Tommy Stinson (The Replacements, Bash + Pop) would be a good one & funny-cute (& I'm not even that familiar w/him; just knew he'd be funny)
I find him to be perpetually outclassed by (some) of his guests, who tend to show up his rather pedestrian IQ. The Louis Theroux interview, for example, really indicates how lacking Rogan is when attempting to keep an intellectual ball in the air. The Billy Corgan episode was another where a highly intelligent subject was let down by a maddeningly average interviewer.
These tank/armor shows in Europe where they feature restored WW2 armor. Quite interesting if you're in to that sort of thing. Go to the 5 minute mark and listen to this German Panther tank roar to life. Use headphones to get the full sound effect.
Kitboga poses as a Grandma to mess around with scummy phone scammers. There are plenty more videos of him doing this on his channel and I love them all.
