The Fugitive last episode...the best ending to a long series...nice it went that way instead of leaving us out in the cold...
We watched a Frasier episode, in which they all end up in a ski cabin along with a hot friend of Daphne, and a ski instructor. They drink hot toddies and try to get with each other. Frasier wants the sexy friend, she wants Niles, Niles wants Daphne, Daphne wants the instructor, and he wants Niles. Nighties are worn, people pop in and out of bedrooms like a Marx bros bit and they finally all end up in one room and discover the fun will not be realized. Frasier laments that he was the only one nobody was after. The end.
The Boys - I watched the series when it was 1st released and liked it but I didn't think it was such a Big deal. Enjoyed it much more the 2nd time around. It somehow accomplishes the task of being a giant love letter, AND a huge 'eff you', to the comicbook industry at the Same time! Tons of fun!
We have become regular watchers of The Closer (Please and thank you!). Old series I guess, but being rebroadcast here. Very entertaining though some times over the top,. Sometimes hilarious. Recently one episode had a fake detective get business cards from Pope, Provenza etc and then get them in hot water while he left them in the dust. And the other day, Beau Bridges got to play a cop who transgendered after he retired. Laugh out loud stuff. The music is very interesting too, though a little too repetitious.
The Twilight Zone - "The Sixteen-Millimeter Shrine." Starring the great Ida Lupino in a truly fantastic episode (as many are).
A handmaid's tale. Waiting for Amazon to Show the third season for free. I really liked the first two seasons. Great actors, interesting story and nice visuals.
I would say it is. I finally started watching this show after hearing a lot of good things about it. I'm half way through season 3 right now. Really liking it.
