Do any cable shows feature uncensored F bombs yet?

Now that they compete with both premium cable and Netflix (both of which allow for unlimited cursing), so it would seem pointless to me to omit F bombs from TV-MA cable shows.

The s word gained acceptance in basic cable by the late 00s, but I wonder if the F word has gained any ground.

Tons of unbleeped "F"s on a lot of cable shows and networks. Definitely more common now than it used to be.

  6. Magicians has quite a few profanities in each episode.

I just started watching Mr. Robot on Amazon and noticed some f bombs, but do they play them when it first airs on cable?

I do have cable but I'm catching up on Season 1 on Amazon right now, and will watch it on demand once I get to season 4.

One thing that annoyed me back in the 00s was when TV-MA cable shows would excessively use the S word just because they could, but didn't have permission to use the F word so there would be none of those.

So you would have a show like Rescue Me where the characters would constantly be saying the S word, often in unusual manners.

Has Better Call Saul done it yet? I watched the first 3 seasons and they haven't as of then.

  11. Yeah Suits would use the 's' word but not the 'f' word.

    They sure did!
Also, "Taboo", on FX had quite a few 'F's'!

Good! Honestly, this should have became the norm a long time ago, since cable is not subject to profanity regulations like over the air networks.

Heck, they even kept quite a few 'f's' when they show "Deadpool"...after 8, though..
When they show it earlier, it's 'freakin' this' and 'freakin' that'!

I believe Howard said F U to Jimmy last season. Prior to that, I remember Jimmy telling Howard "I'm sorry I called you a Pig f-er," but the F in that was muted (I think) - not positive about that one cause I always have subtitles on.

Sort of. Saul says it once, but I believe it was bleeped.

They use more f-bombs as the seasons progress--number 3 and 4 have a lot, and even the dreaded c-word as someone mentioned.

"There's just one thing, Dude; do you have to use so many cuss words?"

I remember reading an interview with Graham Yost when he was running Justified on FX, where he said they allotted him one or maybe two fwords a season and he had to pick his shots. FX has apparently loosened up in recent years, "The Politician" and recent seasons of AHS in particular have applied them quite liberally.

Doesn't South Park get to drop one F-bomb per episode?

Comedy Central will at times air uncensored movies or stand up specials on weekends after 10 pm.

They would on later night repeats. Maybe they just missed one in edit, but I would DVR the show, and one time due to schedule conflicts, I recorded it from like 1 or 2 in the morning.

Shocked the crap out of me when I heard it. I assume DVD releases are uncensored.
