As I'm living overseas, I was a little shy about ordering from them. But after reading comments about Elusive Disc on the forum, I decided to take the plunge. And it was a great experience.
LPs were double boxed and shipped fast. A good job from their shipping department.

And thanks to people who posted comments about their experience. :righton:

:agree: 18 years ago they were one of my first U.S.A. purchases and they are still in the top 2 of product shipment for me.

Yep you can't go wrong with them or Music Direct. I'm sure there are other good ones but those two have never let me down.

I used to make a quarterly order for DCC and MFSL gold discs from Elusive. Was always excited to sign for the little cardboard box of treasures. Miss those days!

That ended today. The Jimi Hendrix Experience Smash Hits bent and broken. Worst album I've ever received by mail.
Luckily, my USPS carrier was still here, so I gave it back to her, to return.
Left Elusive Disc a voicemail with the particulars, asked for a refund. No point risking this again.
The album mailer was flimsy ?!?!

I deal with elusive pretty much exclusively. Jason is very helpful.

I purchase from them, but I must say I don't buy LPs from them anymore. Any vendor that refuses to provided a prepaid return shipping label for defective merchandise has been scratched from my list. These days I pretty much use Amazon and trusted sellers on eBay for all of my vinyl purchases.

Thanks for your comments on them. They're scratched off my list as well.... The reason that you pay their higher-than-Amazon prices is for customer service. The fact that they don't pay return postage for defective items is ridiculous.

Anyone else having issues with their website? Showing as not secure? MusicDirect and AcousticSounds are fine.

No problem here. Maybe a certificate-expiration thing (it is the 1st of the month)? I would check again in a few hours; my guess is that the problem will rectify itself.
