Well, that's a fairly creative solution to a lot of the compiling challenges posed by this collection.

And, boy, Bowie sure did hate "Too Dizzy"!

I'm tempted. Loads of live albums and not to many studio albums means there are lots of things I want.

Will Parlophone put in a volume drop into the track 'Zeroes', just for fun?

Well, this plugs a hole in my Bowie collection that just so happens to cover this period.

Wow, only 3 LPs and a bunch of extras. This set actually seems more exciting than the previous boxes.

This will be the first of the "box" series that I'm actually buying, and it is entirely due to the new version of Never Let Me Down.

Realistically, there are almost three full versions of NLMD in here, since the original LP edits are being included on Re:Call 4. Odd decision....

Yeah, I think I'm in for this one. By focusing on the three 80s EMI albums, they may just resuscitate this period of his career for old fans and reward the younger fans that fell in love with Bowie during this period.

No sign on Amazon UK. Should be about £80 to pre-order shouldn't it?

Thank **** someone's seen sense and included all the tracks from Absolute Beginners, Underground and the Tina Turner live version of "Tonight" which I was somehow sure would be left off despite becoming a European hit in its own right some years after it was originally recorded as part of her tour. Literally cannot wait for the new version of the Never Let Me Down album, especially "Time Will Crawl".

Hi-res configs not included on official press release. That has traditionally been available day 1.

I wonder if "Too Dizzy" is being saved for one of those long-rumored anthology albums Tony Visconti talked about a few years ago, like many of the Ryko bonuses. Kinda disappointed it's not on the box at all though. I'm still gonna order though. I have all the other CD sets, might as well keep it going. I'm waiting patiently for the set with Toy in it, which will probably be two years from now. Surprising it's an October release instead of September like the others. I'm thoroughly intrigued. Loving The Alien is a great title, even though it's been taken by many a cover/tribute album over the years. It's still a better title than Who Can I Be Now?, which would've been better had it been called Fascination or something.

I got tired of his guitar work for a long while - too squally - and was pretty negative about him. I've come back 'round now, though.
