I bought this record the day it was released.
And just located it in my collection.

    The complete matrix:

    Side 1: ST-A-691671-MO-CC RL SS MR LW delta13933 3 w AT
    Side 2: ST-A-691672-MO-CC MR LW RL SS delta13933-x w (1) AT

    Excellent condition all around.

Which version of the "Holy Grail" is this copy and it's approximate worth.

(BTW, I'm not wanting to sell this anytime soon.) :)

    Thanks for all input.

    Amazing item to have.
I would not let it go for at least 200$ minimum.

I couldn't tell you. Probably best to check ebay and Discogs for a few in similar condition and see what they sold for.

    I would say 200-250.

    How does it play grade?

It has gone for over 500$ in NM condition, this year even.
There are also the promo copies that can go for over 1000$ in good condition but thats quite a bit more rare.

I haven't played it since the 70's. It sounded great then. I tended to make play copy cassettes and put the LP on the shelf, so it's barely played.

another question would be the deadwax on side2. is it small or normal?
the smaller the deadwax the wider the grooves. small deadwax RL might command more money.

I'm beginning to realize that. I thought my MFSL 1/2 speed would have been worth more. :)

Ya, the record is a monster. Mine is not a Monarch, but it is an original "RL ss (PR), and it may be the most dynamic record I own.

The real Holy Grail! Robert Ludwig specifically cut two matrix for the German market. Unfortunately the B-side matrix was probably damaged in the weeks before the release of the album in this country. According to my estimates, 3000 or 4000 copies were put into circulation. About 200000 for the US market. German pressing RL both sides is definitely the rarest.
