Anyone downloaded the high-res files yet? Wonder if the glitch is there too.

The two LP version flows nicely. It does seem to rock little less.

The big box arrived at 10:55am this morning and is an absolute triumph. Three quarters of the way through Live in Europe and am staggered that this has been sitting on a shelf for half a lifetime. What were they thinking? It's great! Packaging, contents and presentation are truly archive quality. Was worried about this being expensive and late to the party, but no this is a work of beauty and is exemplary in terms of presentation.
Am listening to My Love as I write this and it's a tear-jerker. The whole compiled concert is an absolute gem.

Little woman love in early mix, got the voice of Linda, almost like it was a duet !

I thought the second disc of the 2 disc RRS was the proposed double album. Am I wrong? Waiting for delivery of both double cd sets today.

Afraid so. Disc 2 of the deluxe boxset is the double album, but disc 2 of the 2CD set is just the cut tracks, plus singles etc.

Do the liner notes say when "When the wind is blowing" was recorded? Was it during the RAM sessions?

The sets have just arrived! Will check out the early versions of Ram-era RRS tracks and watch the Bruce McMouse show!

That would have been way more logical to use the early mix of Little Woman Love on RAM and the final version on RRS or WL instead of Early Mix on RRS and final version on BOTH!
    But hey... logic... MPL... Yeah...

My Big Box from MusicVaultz finally got marked as “processed” and my card was charged $350 last night, so it’s on the way!!

Sadly, I won’t be joining you with day 1 thoughts on the boxes, but I’m excited for all of you to review!

The early mix of Get On The Right Thing was mixed on July 8 1971 by Dixon van Winkle. Little Lamb Dragonfly and Little Woman Love were done on the 13th. So, after RAM.

The 71'-73' live stuff is so good. Where have they been hiding this stuff? And with London Town and Back to the Egg still on the horizon, it begs to question........what do they have in store for us from the 79' tour??

I hope they let it out!!

Goodnight Tonight was put in McCartney II in 1993, not very logical

The early mix of Little Lamb Dragonfly has all the orchestrations in place, additional kick drum and hi-hat in the intro. Though the vocal is completely by Paul, it's sadly an unfinished guide vocal. He comes in late and la-la-la's almost all of the verses. Otherwise, the arrangement is mostly in place and just great of course!

Most definitely the 1979 Glasgow show that was supposed to be released at the time if I recall right?
