There’s a big feature on the LP in this month’s Uncut, including a preview of the box.

    To be included:

    Pre-Hannett demos
    4 accompanying 12 singles
Additional CDs and DVDs including live performances from 81-83.

It’s put together with input from Stephen Morris and Peter Hook.

Looks like it should be good and hopefully the first of many.

Oh boy, one of the few bands I'm actually interested in buying deluxe versions of albums from.

  3. I look forward to getting the second edition of this set, with all the mastering errors and mislabeled tracks corrected. ;)

Might be the only New Order album I truly enjoy start to finish.

Does that mean Hook actually is speaking to the rest of them?

    It’s very expensive

Maybe my conversion is off, but it seems about the same price as the two latest Depeche Mode sets on Amazon and it doesn’t even include the main album.

I don't know. Recently I saw so many deluxe or super deluxe versions stacked up at records fairs with 30-50% off, I've become reluctant to shell out for these. Especially since I have most of the included stuff. I'd rather wait.

It's about twice the price. And the DM sets don't include the albums . Unlike this one

  16. They would’ve really had to go to town on the book to justify a price like that. And even then, no sale at that price. Trust secondary retailers will have it for less though.

Woah, this is confusing. So the vinyl box includes a "definite" version of "Movement" plus four 12-inches????

Those first 2 DM boxes are nearly half off now. I don't see anything about how "limited" this New Order set is so I'm very reluctant to buy outright as well. We'll see...

No, if I'm correct you get the box with vinyl + 2cds + dvd and also 4 x 12" singles for 150 pounds.
    Or am I wrong ??

I am getting $241 for both of the new DM sets and $171 converted for movement with the singles. Maybe apples to oranges but i feel like the NO set is a better deal.

Of course who pays full price. The DM sets have fluctuated jn price quite a bit. This will too on Amazon.

It's 150 Euros for the bundle or 135 without the 12"s (or 130 vs 120 pounds).

I'm interested in this. I don't have a much New Order, would like to own more. Have had "Substance" for a long time. Would like to know what the CD version will have.

    Here's the vinyl artwork apparently?

Thanks. I'll go for the bundle but I hope at a lower price.

This is easily one of my favorite New Order albums.

Amazon is showing the Lp and cd of movement is the 2015 remaster. Does anyone have any more information?
