    Not really. They where occasionally played as showpieces, but the guitar I most associate with the man is the Hohner Telecaster copy. He'd play that thing day and night through all the decades he performed.

    Its iconic because, despite his increased amount of wealth, I don't think he ever upgraded to a Fender, kept it Hohner. He loved that thing, apparently had about a dozen of them

    There is a new book about Leo Fender and Les Paul reviewed today in the WSJ. I didn't know Leo wasn't a musician.

    I'd love a photo of Rick playing one of the bottom necks. Unless he flipped the guitar played them lefty, he wouldn't be able to see anything! :laugh:
