I was initially looking for that SWINGING BLUE JEANS newsreel where they "recorded" HIPPY HIPPY SHAKE at Abbey Road with Normal engineering, but I only found a snip. The entire thing is on YouTube but I couldn't find it.

Usually Pathe stuff is listed on YouTube in crazy ways, like "How A Record Is Made" or something like that, no mention of the group, so it's hard to find them.

    Probably in here somewhere:
Newsreels, video, archive, film, footage, stills - British Pathé

I'm sure there are many more of these great clips.

    Can you post some here?

Great song! For a moment I thought they'd borrowed the construction sounds from Telstar or something ...

In the sixties I used to love watching Pathe News every Saturday when me and my mates[we were around 8yrs old] would go to the Picture Palace[cinema] and it would cost a sixpence.

This one is a real find to me with both Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac and Christine Perfect (soon McVie)! I think that might be Peter Banks (of Yes) talking to Mick Fleetwood? Some of the others I've seen snippets of in documentaries, but so nice to see more, like Barry Gibb, The Equals and Status Quo in Carnaby street!
