I don't know who the wise guy is that rates everyone, but he's ALWAYS over or under rating. it's about time we start cataloging all of these misguided ratings, maybe threads asking who's the most over/under rated? I don't know, sounds pointless...

A Day In The Life is worthy. Strawberry Fields Forever is not.

 

Voting Strawberry Fields Forever, although it's fairly close. Both are excellent but neither would be one of my final two. Actually I'm not sure what would be, as there are several strong contenders.

Most overrated: Get Back, Come Together, Helter Skelter, Blackbird, I Want to Hold Your Hand, In My Life

Most underrated: Your Mother Should Know, Good Night, The Long and Winding Road, numerous others including (judging from the poll results) If I Fell

 

ADITL is the weaker of the two. Imagine if these two were a double a side single.

 

Both are among the greatest music ever written regardless of genre.

Between the two classic songs, I'm voting against "A Day In The Life."

I've really enjoyed these polls and all of the time and effort that went into them, but it does seem a bit anticlimactic that the final poll is essentially a repeat of the 1967 finalists poll.

I totally agree on Long Long Long bring underrated. I think it's wonderful. To me it's one of George's best songs.

 

Hahaha...The great thing about the Beatles is that even the songs of theirs that I think are overrated, I still think are good songs.

Sorry, I can't vote for 'Strawberry Fields Forever' or 'A Day in the Life' as a least favorite song, even if those are the only options.
