Bikini Kill Huggy Bear Big Black Chapterhouse (including their early demos when they went under the awful name "Incest") Cyclobe The House Of Love (The Fontana/Phonogram years - Cherry Red have done the Creation period) Inspiral Carpets
Doug Sahm Many collections out there but a big box set covering all eras would be awesome. Probably never will happen though
Mary Margaret O'Hara. At least two album's worth of compilation appearances and guest spots. Presumably demos, aborted second album sessions and what little they recorded of the first album before she fired Andy Partridge and John Leckie.
I'd love to see a Laura Nyro box set. According to Michele Kort's biography lot's of unreleased music still exists in the archives.
Leonard Cohen. He only ever recorded for Columbia so a comprehensive career spanning set of rarities, alternates and live cuts should not be beyond the realms of possibility.
I have been wanting a PJ Harvey box set for a long time. And it should contain B-sides,and rarities, etc.
George Harrison, who has tons of rumored material in the vaults from 1970 onward. Songs for Patti and Ohnothimagen bootlegs in official packages good for 2-3 discs alone. Live material (DVDs too) from 1974 must be included, warts and all.

Reading and enjoying the responses. Another one to add to my list: Ween. Yes, I know some folks loathe them, but they'd be a good candidate for a box, as they have so much bootleg trading going on and lots of cassette demos, too.
I'll go ahead and be the third person to say Spacemen 3. A mess of a discography! And: how about a big Soft Boys set that includes EVERYTHING?
I would like to buy one covering Skeeter Davis´ career after The Davis Sisters. There´s already a lovely Bear Family collection covering her time in that duo. Many of her albums have received lovely sounding Japanese releases on CD, but I would love to own a box set. Not most people´s highest priority, I know, but I grew up listening to her music. She was quite big in Scandinavia.
I thought Lightfoot's Songbook did pretty well for a 4 cd set. The only extra thing I would have liked is some acoustic demos by himself. Bern
Wounded Bird actually put out the entire catalogue on CD (not just the singles set) a few years ago. (A few were still in print otherwise). Even their reunion album was pretty easy to find.
Oh, if you mean by 'comprehensive' that it should be EVERYTHING then, no, Lou Donaldson doesn't need one - ain't nobody got time for that.
