Didn't get through the first episode. May try it again to see if my initial thoughts remain.

Watched the first two, barely passable to me. I'll watch more but the laughs are few & far between. So many talented people involved, not sure how this didn't turn out better.

Watched a couple, but the wife and I concluded it is just too dumb to continue.

I enjoyed 'Upload ' . It's much much better in every way and on every level compared to ' Space Force '

And who knew former Prince protege Andy Allo was such a gifted actress as well as a talented musician/singer?

Three episodes in, it's... alright. John Malkovich steals every scene he's in, especially because of how restrained-but-maybe-also-totally-nervous his character talks. Hilarious :D

Since the comparisons with Upload turn up everywhere: the two shows, in my opinion, share the same problem - whenever they're about to deliver some REALLY sharp satire, they take two steps back again, often taking to slapstick instead. Yet, Upload clearly had the more interesting plot and kept me hooked because I wanted to know how things turned out. Space Force is basically your standard workplace comedy, except that it's more explicitly political.

Made it halfway through the third episode and....that's it for me.
    It's just not funny.

Gets funnier by the third ep but still I'm chuckling out loud maybe twice a show. Limited appeal, I get that, but I love Malk so I'm in for the duration.

The series seems to have everything on paper...GREAT cast...interesting premise...a bit of political edge....

    ....yet, nothing works.

He is by far , and I do mean by far , the best thing in it. The look on his face in every scene he's in seems to say : ' I know this is sh!t but I'm John Malkovich! '

Well what a downer this thread is. I enjoyed "Space Force" from the start. Sharp, witty and funny. John Malkovich is worth it alone. :righton:

Yeah, although I thought it took a little while to get going, it quickly becomes enjoyable.

I think the bar for TV has been raised quite high, making it harder and harder to make a show that really wows people.

The Morning Show on AppleTV with Carell, Aniston, and Witherspoon was the best series of the past 6 months. I hope Carell does more serious roles like that.

Watched the first 2 episodes and am enjoying it so far. One thing though that someone can explain to me: Did I miss something here, but how did Carell's wife all of a sudden end up in jail? Did my TV glitch somewhere?
