  1. Derp, never mind me. It is actually a copy of Deja Vu :hide:

    Sounds mighty fine, though

As usual, I cleaned my record with my special Gel before listening to test the quality of the pressing ... perfect! Bought $ 35.00 for a very good + condition. Now it sounds 99.5% Mint :)yikes:) and my record is now worth $ 2000.00! :D:pineapple:No seriously I am amazed by the quality of this pressing! And my Gel certainly contributed to the end result.:agree::whistle::edthumbs:

Here is the Discogs link for the House of the holy Porky / Pecko Portuguese pressing. Now I cannot guarantee that all presses use Peckham's matrix. Maybe there are local cuts too (which can be pretty good too). Only one seller answered me on 6 requests ... good luck!:wtf:

I have that German pressing and it rocks and lives up to its legendary reputation.

Picked up an early US press of the debut. Side 1 is the "RG" Rob Grenell cut but does anyone know who cut side B? It has "B" lacquer code...

Hmm, interesting find! Strange for a portuguese pressing to use the UK porky mastering.

Not that strange! Apparently, Portugal regularly used UK plates (mastering Pete Norman, Allen, Peckham ...). Actually, but maybe I'm wrong, the strangest thing is that there was no Led Zeppelin lll ... Portuguese !? :shh:

Are there several Peckham's cuts for HOTH? Portuguese matrix are not quite the same as UK matrix.

Does your copy have this information rigorously in dead wax?
    • Matrix / Runout (Side A): K50014 A1 PORKY W-3
    • Matrix / Runout (Side B): K50014 B1 PECKO W-4
Portuguese pressing only has this matrix information:

    • Matrix / Runout (Side A): K50014 A1 PORKY
    • Matrix / Runout (Side B): K50014 B1 PECKO
I was wondering if W-3 and W-4 were the numbers of the stampers or just the extension of the matrix information.

Yes but now there is a solution to recover a two-sided HOTH Peckham! ;) A member here, under my recommendation, ordered one. The seller has confirmed the Porky Pecko matrix. So I think the link below is worth exploring! ;)
For the quality of the pressing, my Portuguese pressing sounds (after cleaning) like mint! I am surprised !:righton:

Thanks for letting me know! I’m so stoked to get it. It’s taking a long time to get here, but hopefully in the next two weeks it’ll be here.

Be patient. At the moment, in Europe, the postal services are very disrupted because of the health crisis. So don't worry!

I am impressed with your archeological skills but Portugal might as well be on the moon right now with the way the world is.

It's crazy that I was even able to find side 2 in Florida recently.

Honestly, I'm not trying to impress anyone. It is above all the enthusiasm and the pleasure of sharing information or nice finds that guide my action. Cool that you managed to find a For Mary/Pecko but a Porky/Pecko, even in exotic pressing mode would be even cooler! ;) It's still a shame to be close to the goal and suddenly give up.:shh:
