Woops you beat me to it, I just deleted my post. I thought he said something like "the show has gotten much worse!" That was the episode with his classic Lou Gehrig parody skit (on what Lou REALLY meant).
he was brilliant and its so sad the cancer didn't get him. i just saw the cause of death revealed and you guessed....frank stallone
Hitler's Dog? There are definitely vulgar parts in it, but it isn't vulgar for vulgar's sake. Great special!
I've just been crushed by this news all day. I come on here and I see this at seven pages! People got him, they remember Norm! I'm coming back and then I will 'like' everyone...
Thanks for posting. God, he was funny. Found myself laughing, and at the places where you are not "supposed" to laugh. That, my friends, is comedic genius. We're losing people at an alarming rate nowadays, that we will never see the likes of ever again, in any close approximation, due to the way culture is rapidly changing. Thank you, Norm, for being who you were and spreading laughs.
I am floored. He was a funny, funny man. He brought me a lot of laughter and I thank him for that. —RIP
"The ugly little secret in Hollywood is that Rodney Dangerfield never got any respect." —Norm Macdonald
I love that story that Norm used to tell about Rodney Dangerfield guesting on SNL. A writer approached Rodney and told him a joke he'd written, asking what he thought of it. Rodney turned to him and said "kid, lemme tell ya, I'm not one for jokes."
RIP, Norm. Fan since his SNL days. Glad that I saw him in person once at the Royal Oak Music Theatre. Something I'll fondly remember.
If anyone hasn’t seen Mike Tyson Mysteries, it’s probably his last great character role - he totally steals the show
As far as I’m concerned, Richard Pryor and Norm Macdonald divided the world between them. Love you, Norm.
