Playing the 'Live In Central Park' album as I type. I can't say it's ageless as it is most definitely of an age. But what a collection of material! Gawd bless you and Art, mate. Hope you had a smashing birthday.
Thanks, Paul Simon. Every autumn, I use his song "Wristband" in my course about discrimination & diversity in literature, as a kind of introduction. He's really a fabulous lyricist, and obviously one of the true "master" songwriters in American history. Quite a legacy. He also has released mostly good stuff -- there's not a lot of fat, and lots of meat.
A cover of the OG by The Passions who recorded the song in 1959: “Just To Be With You” - The Co-Sines.
