If I make a list of best television shows, Fleabag is number one by a lot. I've read people say they couldn't get through the first 10 minutes. I understand this, but it's really their loss. I recommend it to anyone, with the reservation of please watch the entire first episode.
We watched the pilot of Yellowstone with Kevin Costner. Saw the trailer for 1923 and were intrigued, so we tried to figure out where to start: with Yellowstone, 1923, or 1883, and chose Yellowstone. It was really good. Watched that after watching Season 3 Episode 2 of Jack Ryan on Amazon Prime. Really good.
I was watching the rose parade from Pasadena this morning, I saw a big grapefruit made all out of flowers and lots of horses. It was all fine until their pest control problem was revealed to the world. A couple of big rats had invaded one of the antique vehicles, they even got into some peoples' clothes and it was almost like they were waving at the crowd at one point, brazen things! It was right after Tanya Tucker sang, a terrible sight. The rats I mean, not Tanya. So some people are at least trying to keep up standards of normalcy and tradition.
Saw the first two episodes of Monster's At Work tonight on the Disney Channel and it was pretty funny and cute overall. Not as good as the original Monster's Inc., but it was nice to see Mike and Sully back again.
Technology will soon advance to the point of enabling me to mash up 'Hazel', 'Rat Patrol' and 'Room 222'. Exploring and exploiting their differences and, yes, their similarities.
