10 reasons not to buy from Amazon

Wow. That article seriously makes me hesitant to buy anything from Amazon. It sounds like something from the 19th century, or a third-world country. Their response--only talking about installing air conditioners and not addressing any of the other very serious charges--just confirms their culpability. Thanks to John B Good for sharing this.

 

It sounds inhumane. Just a very sad case of what North America has become over the last 25 years where humans are expendable for profits.

 

I only need one reason. Used items are not always accurately described.

I'm not buying into that article completely, at least not enough to make me stop buying from amazon.

 

They addressed a couple of things,while not denying anything.Rates,surprise mandatory hours,use of certain folk for lighter tasks, straining the use of local police/ambulance services instead of handling some things inhouse,none of these were addressed. And remember,nothing was done until a doctor notified OSHA and several smaller stories from the local papers put some pressure on Amazon.Meanwhile,here's part two:
